The Collaborative for Innovation in Teacher Education (CITE) addresses the grand challenges of teaching and teacher education in Texas by seamlessly integrating theory, practice, and policy to develop next-generation educators.
Our long-term vision is to become a local, national, and international trendsetter in next-generation teacher education that develops a synergy between initial teacher education, induction into teaching, and in-service teacher education.
We bridge theory, practice, and policy to address the urgent need for convergence in teacher education. At points of contact, CITE seams together previously fractured pieces and rigorously examines them from an interdisciplinary perspective.
